Brent
Norris is the founder and CEO of Aloha Workshops delivering Web professional
training and certifications around the world. Brent is an advisor
to the WOW organization and heads up the WOW Technology Minute, a sixty

In his spare time, Brent manages Big Island Fun.com and shares some of the
adventures that make living in Hawaii so rewarding. Living aloha on the
Big Island of Hawaii and sharing those experiences with others is his greatest
reward.
David Leip is a
Senior Technical Staff Member (STSM) at IBM where he is the Chief Technology
Officer for ibm.com. In that role he is focused on driving new
innovation into IBM's own web presence as well as driving agile methods
for the organization. Previously, he managed IBM's corporate webmaster organization
for several years where he had responsibility for many of IBM's web standards.
More importantly David managed IBM's corporate portal that grew to span
92 countries and 32 languages, with an availability of 100.000% over the
last four and a half years he was in that job. David has an MSc in computer
science and a background in software development, usability and web application
solution delivery. He is on the advisory board for the World Organization
of Webmasters, and the head of IBM's newest Center for Advanced Studies.
Tantek
Çelik,Technorati, http://technorati.com/ Tantek Çelik is
Chief Technologist at Technorati where he leads the design and development
of new standards and technologies. Prior to Technorati, he was a veteran
representative to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) for Microsoft, where
he also helped lead the development of the award-winning Internet Explorer
for Macintosh.
As co-founder of the microformats.org community and the Global Multimedia Protocols Group, as well as Steering Committee member of the Web Standards Project and invited expert to the W3C Cascading Style Sheets working group, Tantek is dedicated to advancing open standards and simpler data formats for the Web.
The microformats community believes that standards should do less, not more. Data formats should adapt to current web publishing behaviors and reuse existing broadly interoperably implemented standards. Easy to adopt formats are enabling a diverse set of web designers and developers to visibly publish, share, and consume all kinds of common information, and microformats are leading the way.
Tantek lives in San Francisco, and has Bachelor's and Masters degrees in Computer Science from Stanford University, as well as a strong background in human interface and user centered design from his many years at Apple Computer. He shares his thoughts on his personal weblog.

of the World Organization of Webmasters (WOW). The World Organization

Carey Ransom
Vice President, Corporate Development & Marketing. Carey Ransom
is an Internet and software entrepreneur and industry consultant, developing
new opportunities or WebVisible to better serve our resellers, while exploring
new business inroads in domestic and international growth. Carey's focus
is new product and technology initiatives, identifying market trends and
overall company marketing strategy.
Previous to joining WebVisible, he Co-Founded Truverse, a software venture in dynamic personalization of electronic communications. While at MessageRite (acquired by Frontbridge Technologies), Carey was Vice President of Sales & Marketing, leading the online communication storage and security start-up, which was eventually absorbed by Microsoft in 2005. In addition, Carey has experience as a business and communications instructor, sales manager, and consultant to startups in business planning and fundraising. Carey is an MBA graduate of the Anderson School of Business at UCLA. In addition, he holds a Certificate of E-Commerce from Loyola University Chicago and a B.A. in Economics from Indiana University.
